英德蕾（因德雷·帕考斯凯特IndrePatkauskaite饰）是一名精神病学专业的学生，在经历了数年的刻苦钻研之后，她终于得到了实习资格，成为了医师助手。然而，英德蕾实习期所接受的第一个任务就让她感到非常的头疼，她要同时护送两名精神病人前往另一家医院。他们分别是患有躁郁症，时而精神百倍兴奋不已，时而低落消沉孤独厌世的保罗（SarunasZenkevicius饰），和多次尝试自杀未遂的尤思坦（尤利娅·斯特波娜妮特JulijaSteponaityte饰）。就这样，英德蕾带着两人上路了，这将注定不会是一段平凡的旅程，英德蕾不仅要提防两人病发，还要时刻注意不让他们两人的病情相互影响。
